November 8, 2011
Rain, rain and more rain!!!! Gotta love it!!! THANK YOU LORD!
JD's old show heifer Peaceful had twin heifers last night. Peaceful is the LAST of her kind, she is a Black Jack 21 daughter out of Miss Bama whom are both deceased now. Hope this baby grows off good. She has her mammas markings and dark red!
Queenie--another old show heifer had a bull last week, Fusion son. He is so cute! Mom and baby are doing good! So now it is time to pick out names.
Planted a fall garden this year, with the help of my dad. Hope is is very fruitful. Cabbage, spinach, lettuce and garlic and onions...
Hope everyone is good.

Texas Heat Wave
August 28, 2011
I thought red would be a good color to go along with the heat. Wow, can you believe how many days of 100+ days we have had and not to mention no rain.....
Jbba National heifer show was a huge success, congratulations to all the kids! We had a good time and mingled with show buddies.
I am going to try a fall garden this year, with the help of my daddyBill, hope it works. Home grown veggies are so good and tasty.
Congrats to Swinging B and T5 on the futurity in Tennessee, they had top placings. Congrats to Emmons for the winning girl! I am sure glad my hubby is home.
Take care and God Bless!!!!!
Till next time, the landfrieds...........

Praying for a rainy day....................
June 18, 2011
It's Saturday morning, the guys went to an estate auction and I am cleaning and washing clothes. Does it ever end.
Well cattle prices are steady, but will probable be falling, no rain in Texas. They say we will eventually just dry up. Maybe after my days here are finished.
JBBA Nationals is right around the corner, can't wait.
Good Luch to all the JBBA Members out there.....Have fun.... and Show off!
